Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer this "Garage" fresh 1975 Chevrolet Corvette L82. This unmolested and unrestored Corvette belongs to my long time friend John B., who has owned it since 1998. With the exception of the sound system, this car is totally original, and just the way that John acquired it 16 years ago. We did note that the trim tag says that it was born Dark Red, and was color changed to white sometime BEFORE John's acquisition. It has been stored in his house garage since about 2000 or so, and has not been driven since. He tells me that it was regularly started, up until about 4 years ago. Sadly, he admits that he will never get it on the road again, and has reluctantly asked me to sell it for him. We are just a listing agent with no responsibility, and doing a good friend favor. Please be a real bidder when you win, with no excuses, and have the funds to complete the transaction like the gentlemen that we are. As you will note in the many photos below, this car has been buried under a huge pile of stuff for many many years. Just last week, we cleared it off, aired up the tires, and pulled it out of the garage, and onto my truck, where it still sits!!! The right rear wheel is seized(Probably the emergency brake is stuck), but the other three roll easily. We will attempt to make it roll, but no guarantees. Also, the brake pedal goes to the floor, so, NO....you can't drive it. I charged the battery, gave it a squirt of starting fluid, and it fired up immediately. The fuel doesn't smell too bad, so I would guess the tank should be fine, and not need to be dropped and/or cleaned. AS you will note in the photos, the headlamps do operate. Also, the dual exhaust appears to be recent, with little mileage. This is all that I know/have done!!! I haven't tried, or tested anything else. It appears to be in fairly decent condition, and shouldn't need much to get it back on the road. Again, totally original, and unmolested!!! I DID check the engine number, and it matches the VIN of the car. It is a REAL L82!!! I DID NOT check anything else. As John is not a car guy, nor a mechanic(He is a photographer), no tinkering or modifying has been done during his ownership. What you see in the pictures below is what you get. No other work, or testing will be done. This 1975 Corvette will be sold AS IS, and WHERE IS, and will need to be loaded from the bed of my Rollback. We will be glad to assist in any way that we can. Hasn't seen the light of day in about 12 years or so! .Note that the rear bumper cover has been molded into the body. John tells me it was this way when he bought it, and doesn't know why. The body appears to be very straight. Still loaded and chained to the truck. None of the typical cracks here!! The mats are also included. T-Top bag, and of course, a sunblocker!!! I took this pic with the engine running. Note oil pressure and batt gauge. Temp is cold, and I did not warm it up. Actual Mileage A Major concern on older Corvette's is a cracked and weathered dash pad. This one is Nice! The Door panels are nice too! The numbers on the motor are matching to the VIN of the car. I did NOT check anything else, but assume all to be original. IN storage for about 13 years. I was told it was started regularly until about 4 years ago!! It started last week with ease!
