WILLYS CJ2A: I AM NOT SURE OF THE YEAR MODEL. THERE ARE NO SERIAL NUMBERS OR ID PLATES ON THE JEEP. SOMEONE BEFORE ME REMOVED THEM. THIS IS A PROJECT THAT I DO NOT WANT TO FINISH. THAT'S WHY ITS CHEAP. SEE PICS FOR BODY CONDITION. THE PRICE TELLS YOU THIS IS NOT A SHOW QUALITY JEEP. THE MOTOR AND TRANS ARE NOT IN THE JEEP, BUT THEY GO WITH IT. THE TRANS SHIFTS AND IS NOT STUCK. THE MOTOR TURNS FREE AND SHOULD RUN. THE PERSON I PURCHASED IT FROM SAID IT WAS IN A WELDER AND IT RAN FINE. AFTER WW2, THEY USED A LOT OF WILLYS MOTORS IN WELDERS. I will clean the tags to see what the numbers are. This will increase the value of the jeep. When I have the numbers I will post a picture. Thanks to the person that sent me the information.On Apr-01-14 at 15:18:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I have cleaned of the data tags found on the jeep .It turns out the jeep may be older than I thought, and more collectable. It is a CJ3A 1948- 1953 The numbers are CJ3A 10762 and the body tag is CJ3A 10811 As I stated in the add I have no way to prove these are the correct data plates. I have done my best to describe this jeep but still make no guarantees or claims Thanks for looking.
