minor cosmetic damage as well as left quarter panel damaged and dented. Drivers side floor has rust holes. chip and crack in windshield, dent on drivers side door, bottom corner. Rust hole on drivers side by rear quarter panel, windows broken. brakes need re built, needs floor pan striped and re coated, floor surface rust, they are thin. Been sitting a long long time. ALL PARTS are 100% ORIGINAL! Otherwise, pretty good shape for its age. We have an ORIGINAL quarter panel from a 57 Chevy wagon for this vehicle, so the fit will be perfect. Not after market. YOURS FREE with the purchase of this vehicle! This is a TRUE BARN FIND.. this is an ALL original vehicle, all parts 100% original, including drive train, motor and transmission. The engine is a pre 58 engine, because it does not have side mount bosses on the block and it is a post 55 block (265) because it has an oil filter on the block. The best we can tell, it is a 57 -283, which is a good guess. Also has a power glide transmission. The 4 jet carburetor was rebuilt, we put a kit in it, oil change, we started it, had a little lifter noise, that went away after a little idling. We did not drive this on the highway, because the breaks do not work, but it pulled itself forward and reversed under its own power. Last time it was run, was back in 2011, it has been sitting waiting to be restored, but sadly we have too many projects on hand and have never had the opportunity to fully restore this beauty the way she deserves.
