1990 Jeep Wrangler Base 4.2L I6 AMC 258 Automatic 137,596 actual miles ***PLEASE READ*** *SOLD AS IS* I got this jeep about a month ago. I got this car with about 137,200 miles with the intention of using as a project car. Unfortunately i don't have the time nor the money now for this jeep. From what I was told from the previous owner he had the engine and transmission rebuilt a couple of years ago.This jeep has the nutter bypass modification. The carb looks like a motorcraft 2100 or 2150. The computer module is still in the car but not connected. Jeep runs but I don't drive it too far with issues listed in the next section. Jeep gets about 13 mpg and I do not drive over 65 MPH on the highway or it eats up gas. Jeep feels rough on the highway. Brakes feel spongy- brakes are hard before you start up the car but I believe its a vacuum leak? 2. Smells like gas or burnt oil sometimes (don't know what it is?) 3. Cars leaks oil- Might be due to the valve cover *SEE PICTURE* 4. I can't get the car in 4-Low 5. There's no indicator when you are in drive, park, low 6. Must start car with foot on gas pedal. Need tuning to the carb, idle/ air fuel mixture? 7. Fuel tank back plastic is cracked * SEE PICTURE 8. AC doesn't work Condition: 1. Hard top paint is chipping, Hard top was spray painted. *SEE PICTURE* 2. Body has some blemishes, scratches and rust. 3. Film on tainted windows is peeling. 4. Back wiper for hard top is not working. 5. Carpet inside is ripped, center unit is not screwed in Dayton Tires about 60% tread left Jeep has some rust but very little for it's age Theres a crack on the outer glass of the windshield Some of the window strip is missing I believe theres a motocraft 2150 or 2100 carb and oil is leaking from the valve cover Dash is dusty and there scratches on it Glove box is missing door Seats are 8/10 conditon drivers seat has a small 2 inch tear in the back Theres no indicator to tell you in you are in drive or park Fuel tank back plastic is cracked On Mar-31-14 at 10:38:42 PDT, seller added the following information: *Payment is required within 3 days of auction close* $4500 OBO For any questions send me a message
