Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a very nice very clean 1975 Honda CB200. This bike is all original from what I can tell except the paint. The tank and side covers and engine were repainted. The red is, from my eye, a complete match for the original red. The tank is also spotless inside. It runs excellent, like a sewing machine. It is very smooth, excellent riding bike, fires right up in cold or hot. Has brand new battery. All the lights work, horn, signals etc. It has the original cables, the oem Honda grey ones, all of them. I lubed them to ensure they stay good. Carbs are rebuilt. New Float needles, jets, gaskets, and cleaned. They have the original cables as well. Valves were adjusted, new plugs, points set, timing adjusted. Has decent tires, good for another year or so. There are obviously a couple flaws, some of the chrome is just beginning to let loose, as you can see form the pictures, but looking at it, you cannot really tell, especially in direct sunlight, the chrome will blind you. I did not repaint the frame, so it has a couple of small rust spots in in, but for originality sake, I left it. Same with the tail light mount. This bike has 4600 original miles, stated on title, has been pretty well taken care of. When I got it, I could tell it had been in the back of a garage for some time. Seat is in excellent condition, as well as gauges. The gauge faces are still really nice and not faded. The red on the tach still looks nice and red. The tach is a little slow to respond, it works, but is takes a second to reach the engines actual rpm, I think it just needs to be ridden some and it will free up as it gets used. Again this bike is in great shape, the paint is superb. The chrome is very nice. Rides excellent and turns heads everywhere I have ridden it. It is a great town bike, not a highway bike. It will do 60 or so with me on it, I weigh about 200 pounds. Great starter bike for a lady, but super sweet bike for a collector. It needs a good owner who will take care of it and love it. Again I cant state enough good things about this bike, so many compared to its few flaws. Please feel free o ask questions, thanks for looking. Good luck. Also, I will allow for shipping, contracting the shipper is up to you. I will provide a place of pickup and assist the shipping company in loading. You choose and pay for the said company.
