You are bidding on a 2 owner 1978 Ford F-150 XLT Ranger with 460 ci engine and 96k original miles. This truck is in great condition in and out and has been a southern truck since it rolled off the lot when purchased in Texas. This is a rare example of F-150 with the factory 460 ci engine, 460 Performer intake, Edelbrock 750 carb with 2.5 in flowmaster mufflers mated to an Automatic 3 speed transmission. .Truck is loaded with Cold AC, Power Steering, Power Disc brakes and everything functions as it should.The engine was rebuilt to factory specs around 5k miles ago. New distributor, spark plugs, rotor, radiator, AC compressor and engine control module. The engine is extremely stout, runs great and has no leaks or unwanted noise. The factory paint is blue/cream with no previous accidents or repaints. Interior is in great shape with no tears in the seat and minimal wear. The tires have around 95% tread and the factory wheels are in great shape. The undercarriage is in great shape with no rust other than very little surface rust on the frame that could be scrubbed off with a brillow pad (see pics). Floors are in great shape and have never been replaced. The original owner had a dealer installed toolbox added in the bed along with a vinyl tonneau cover. Mempis Audio 6x9 speakers and 6.5 in the doors. CD player is a Pioneer with remote control. Original owners manual included. These trucks are getting harder to find with this drive train setup and in this GREAT shape. This is an all around great rig with low miles and plenty of power.
