I had this listed and it sold a couple of weeks ago but I never heard from the buyer, they never came to look at it, never emailed me back, etc. Please do not bid if you are not serious about buying it!!! This is a 1966 AMC Rambler Classic 770 with a clean title in need of a good home. It was purchased as a project several years ago and time and money never allowed for me to get at it so it is time to reclaim some of the space in my driveway. The engine will turn over and fire but doesn't seem to want to run, I did have it running last summer but the fuel pump is having issues I think. It has the inline-6 232c.i. engine and an automatic transmission. There are a few small dents/dings in it but overall the body is in great condition and the paint has a great patina to it. The worst spots of rust are on the back two corners and in the trunk where water must have soaked the carpet at some point and caused some rust issues to the trunk pan. There is some sort of issue with the shift lever that won't let it turn over in park, it turns over fine in neutral. This car has all of it's trim pieces, hub caps, handles, cranks, etc. as far as I can tell, it even has the original spare and the factory original jacks that came with it. I also have the original 1966 AMC owner's manual, the original Technical Service Manual, and an original brochure for the AMC approved accessories. It has it's original vacuum-operated windshield wipers but I bought an aftermarket electrical wiper unit for it that is brand new and has never been installed. There are currently no brakes on it, I have not gotten into the brake system at all so I have no idea what they will need, there were some brakes when I parked it several years ago. The arm rest on the drivers side is totally worn out, there are specks of surface rust on the interior metal and at some point a radio was added and they mounted the speakers in the two front doors. No battery. Please see photos for condition, this car is being sold as is, where is, with obviously no warranties.
