Vehicle Detail

This Car Has GOT TO GO!!!The Fair City of Montello Doesn't Like My Mercedes Lawn Ornament and Has Given Me Until April 1st to Get This Thing GONE.Sold As Is Where Is. Buyer Must Remove Car From My Property Before April 1st or its Going to the Crusher. This Car runs and drives BUT is NOT "drivable" do to bad suspension bearing bracket. I sold this a little over a year ago here on eBay. The guy wanted to get it fixed locally and drive it when he got into town and the deal feel through because of a bad steering gear box that leaked onto the rubber ball joints and bushings in the suspension bearing bracket which deteriorated the rubber rendering the car un-drivable. I knew the power steering fluid leaked but didn't know the 2 problems were related. So here I am again. Nowhere to part it out and putting it off till I have to do something. If you win this auction the car MUST BE GONE BEFORE APRIL 1st or it's going to the crusher and you will get your money back minus eBay fees. The Good Here is a list of parts installed new unless otherwise stated since I've owned the car and approximate milage on the parts. Water pump 15k $60 alternator 10k $80 lower oil cooler hose (have good used upper not installed) 5k $20 Had some work done to the front end. Drag link and something else not sure exactly what it was. Had that work done just prior to brake/suspension job. Came to like $300 with labor Below Were Installed NEW and Have Less Than 1k Rear Rhocks $? 4 Rotors $150-$200 Brake Pads All Around $? Front Brake Calipers $100 each Installed New Less Than 500mi Radiator $250 Fan Clutch $180 Thermostat $25 other misc parts installed throughout the time I've had it vacuum levelers Parts Included Not Yet Installed Bushings and Ball joint to rebuilt front driver side suspension bearing bracket new and still in box. I put 20k on the car and as you can see it killed me the last 1k The Bad Not sure if I ever go the cooling system to work right. Didn't drive it long enough in hot weather after replacing the radiator, fan clutch and thermostat to find out if those repairs fixed the problem Some windows don't work Moon roof doesn't open and never tried to open manually for fear of creating a leak. Looks like some bondo on the inside front fender and the passenger side has been painted. Everything seems straight though. Glow plugs work sporadically, never had trouble starting though. Hard downshift due to vacuum issue. Trans was strong last time I drove it a year ago. Trans fluid has most likely leaked out since last time I drove it. Drivers seat will move forward but not back. A/C Doesn't Work Heat Controls work how and when they want to. Some idiot stole the hood ornament. Here is a video I took of the car when I had it for sale here about a year ago. Virtually nothing has changed other than the hood ornament is missing. Haven't started it since this vid was recorded. I believe all the trans fluid has leaked out. Last time we filled it up and it wouldn't move however after sitting a week or so with fluid in it it drove fine. Trans is strong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuaslXs-GsE Here is a video of shortly after I bought it in 2009 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_FJ5nTVb_4 On Mar-18-14 at 08:39:28 PDT, seller added the following information:I should make clear that the only extra parts that are included are the bushings and ball joint to repair the suspension bearing bracket. There is other stuff shown in the video that is listed separately like the filters and upper oil cooler hose. Those are not included with the car. They are not in the description above as included but I just realized they are in the video. That does not mean they are included in this auction.
