This is a retired military then township/fire truck. Listing a project truck due to rocker/floor/bed rust mainly but the truck starts right up, runs/idles great and goes into all its gears. The brakes work up front but will need a line replaced for the rear brake. Gauges all seem to work, the speedo needle has broken most of the way off. The tires are like new (9.50 x16.5), the seat is in amazing condition and the beacon light and other accessories lightsdo function. The truck literally starts right up with one pump of the throttle even in this cold winter, Battery holds a nice charge, tires are excellent. passenger side exhaust manifold leaks pretty strong when first started but quiets a substantial amount once warm. A gasket is needed it looks like from where the mani meets theY pipe,but maybe both gaskets are needed. The front Wheel U joints both need replacement. This is 4 wheel drive all the time so you feel it on both acceleration and deceleration. The truck needs serious rust repair on the rockers, the floors are still there for the most part and the bed shows its areasalso. It all depends on the person buying this truck to the extent they want to repair and replace. I drive this truck locally to my buddies shopetc, it does not leak or smoke. Due to the brakes and U joints, I will not allow this truck to be driven home unless they are repaired prior. Must bring a trailer or flat bed.
