Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a Sunrise Red 1984 RX7 GSL SE. These cars are pretty much the holy grail of first Gen RX7's. I bought it as a restoration project but I can't find the perfect gray interior that I wanted to change it to and I have too many projects. The buy it now, is not much more than a rebuilt 13B would cost installed! The car has great bones, not modified or molested no serious rust, pretty straight and a freshly rebuilt 13b. All stock. It runs and drives fine, A/C blows cold. Known issues: Leaky power steering line Slight leak in Oil cooler Occasionally floods on start up (common issue) Seats and rear carpet are shot, rest of interior OK-ish. Who at Mazda thought Burgundy with Bright Red was a good color combo? Radio powers up but no sound. It would make a good restoration project for someone who thinks, like I do, these are going up in value in the next few years. It would be literally the perfect candidate for a race car. SCCA ITS, STL are all good classes for these cars. Also they are just now becoming legal for vintage racing and would be a great way to enjoy an event without wrenching on an old British car all weekend.
