Vehicle Detail

1984 Honda VF 750F Interceptor V45 Twin V Engine 19821 Miles Clean Title 5 speed transmission 1 down 4 up. Both Tires Good Condition. Front has approx. 3 seasons and Rear is New with less than One season New Sprockets and chain. All Less than one season. New Starter, Battery, and Fuel Pump New grips Engine side covers clean Clutch works well Brakes work well Duel front brake disc rotors Brake pads at about 50% worn All Lights work Turn signal rubber posts and joints in good condition. Tight suspension Adjustable front and rear suspension Upper and lower radiator good Duel radiator fans work well New Seat Cover No fluid leaks Turn Signal and rear stop light lens in good condition Slightly cloudy but with no visible cracks and work well Temperature gauge, speedometer, tachometer, work good Fuel gauge works intermittently Gauges lens slightly fogged but clear up nice with plastic polish Fairing sections in good condition Some nicks, scratches, and minor paint and surface imperfections Plastic front fender has some pealing paint Plastic side covers have broken fastening post Fuel tank in Good Condition Fuel tank has welded repair area Tank was sand blasted, primed and painted. Fuel tank interior had new liner applied Minor Surface rust on frame, bolts, and small areas. Motorcycle takes a couple attempts to start and needs to warm up to operating temperature to run property probably like every other classic 1980’s motorcycle. After being warmed up performance is nice. Have not have the opportunity to ride it much but just started it a couple times a week and kept fresh gas in it. Carbs may need cleaning out, synchronized, and slightly adjusted to get just right. Has tricky 1st to 2nd shift. Many thoughts on this condition found on the internet. Most apparent to me was noticeable play in the shifting linkage which results in not a full kick from 1st through neutral to 2nd. I ended up just shifting from 1st to neutral to 2nd to avoid it from getting stuck in neutral. I have not pursued any other corrective action on this issue. Frame was spot sand blasted several years ago and painted as was side covers, fender and tank. Paint used was for plastic and metal surfaces but was not automotive nor does it have a clear coat applied. Motorcycle would be easily personalized.
