This is a beautifaul 1968 Corvette. Number Matching engine and gearbox. Has won several awards at local Car shows. First the bad: The almost new top has a tear and will have to be replaced. The frame is tight and right. One small linear crack along edge of rt fender.The door for the wipers is non functioning. All the hardware is there and free, just missing the vacuum connection. Wipers workSmall cosmetic imperfections. The a/c does not work. Original compressor is there but non functioning. The radio works on and off, a loose cable I believe. The good: I am have all the papers, including an original sales brochure. I am the 6th owner since new. The cars looks and drives like a dream. I have owned it for almost 10 years without one single hiccup.I am selling it only to buy a house.I can only say, that I hope I find one this nice again when I am ready to buy another. Mechanically perfect, starts quick, shifts great. Everything works that was not described above. Up to and including the original analog clock. Which keeps good time.The engine keeps 40 psi hot at idle, 60 when being driven. There are absolutely no leaks, none! The engine and gearbox are original, and number matching. I verified it myself. Cosmetically, looks great. I don't believe it was ever restored, but was painted at least once. Thje shine is mirror like.There are minor impefections, such as a drivers side scratch, as well as one on passengers side. each maybe an inch and a half long. only visible when you are within 5 feet I would say. Interior I belive to be original in every way. beautiful bright blue, which I am told is rare fir the year. The car is real tight and does not creak, pull, shimmy, anything! Drives great, and I have driven it on trips as long as 300 miles each way with no problems. Enjoy, the winner will not be disappointed.:)
