This is the THIRD TIME that I have listed my car for sale on eBay and both of the previous listings have ended with a WINNING BID, but the bidders DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Do NOT bid on this car if you do not want to honor your bid!! It is that simple. You are outbidding LEGITIMATE bidders! Sorry about that, but now on to the description! :) The car runs and drives, handles pretty well, but as it is a 47 year old car, I'm sure that a lot can be improved on with a little time and effort. Before I get into the list of what's wrong, note that I've only owned her for less than 5 months (most of which were winter) and I've actually only driven her a handful of times for a grand total of less that 40 miles. The previous owner wasn't helpful at all as far as history of the car, so I know very little of prior owners, etc. Accessories and Options: Cruise Control (untested), remote drivers mirror (has crack), Power locks (work), power windows (work), Power seats (not working), Tilt steering wheel, map light on dash (works), 5 person lap seatbelts (all work). Engine: Was told it was the original 429. Still runs good. Transmission: Strong, easy shifts, great. Body: Very straight. I believe she was repainted at some point the original color - Baroque Gold. The top is relatively new as well. Mouldings: All of the original mouldings and trim pieces are there. Again, I was told by the previous owner that they are all original. Wheels and Tires: original hubcaps and tires are in good condition with plenty of tread. Interior: The interior looks all original and is very good for 47 years old. The seats are tear free and the carpet, while stained a little, only has one tear near the drivers pedals. The dash is cracked (as seen in the pictures). Some surface rust on some of the metal parts, a-pillars, steering column. Electrical: Headlights, taillights, brake lights, corner markers, interior map light and courtesy lights on lower dash all work perfectly. Turn signals work but the lever doesn't "click", so you have to hold it in the direction that you are turning to get it to flash (I purchased the kit to fix this, but just can't find the time - it will be included). A few interior lights don't work - not sure if it is switches or bulbs. Dash doesn't light. Speedometer cable clicks - needs to be replaced. I have a replacement Speedometer face/Odometer cluster that I purchased to replace the original with, but just haven't had the time - it will be included in the sale. Steering wheel and horn work, one pad screw is broken. Vacuum: The headlight doors open when you turn on the lights, but when you turn them off, they don't close automatically. . Documentation: Car still has the California title from previous owner. Not yet registered in Texas. The car comes with the original manuals and case in the glove compartment. Air Conditioning: Factory air is present and fan works. Doesn't produce cold air. Beyond that, please look at the pictures. This car is a beauty and I only wish I had the ability to keep her and fix the little things needed to make her perfect.
