I have over 12k in receipts for parts alone and over 18k in this car but my wife needs a new car. So I am selling one of my more complete projects. I have lots of pictures of the restoration. The car was really Straight rust free from the start. The car is currently Registered and insured in my name. 95% complete and 99% of the parts are included to finish it. It looks really sharp. I have the original Wheels as well. It is a true 1972 VW Super Beetle Baja Champion SE with original badge and Dealer window sticker, owners manual, and more. 1 of only 1000 ever made and said by some to be the rarest VW of its time. The inside and outside was sandblasted, epoxy primered and repainted. All new rubber Air Conditioning (updated to R134 and new style components) Custom Heated seats on original VW seat frames. 1835cc perfomance motor and full stainless steel exhaust Stainless steel brake lines 4 wheel disc brakes Pro street Transmission with kennedy Clutch plate Full flow remote oil cooler and Original Volkswagen of America spin on oil filter add on Deep Sump (Motor Holds 5qts of oil) Retrosound stereo Full VDO gauges Adjustable Suspension With front Strut brace All new poly bushings and mounts Extented clutch pedal with roller clutch cable conversion Polished running boards Alternator conversion Many Rare and hard to find parts are on this car as well as many NOS parts The Complete car was sand blasted and painted inside and out back to its original color The list goes on every thing is new or rebuilt with the exception of the vintage chrome wheels. (original wheels are included sandblasted primered and ready for paint) It does run but I would not drive it home as the dual 44 carbs need to be sync'd properly A/C needs to be charged The Dual mufflers need better supports The wipers and blower fan need to be installed The interior Needs completion (all parts are present and ready to be installed) Headliner is already installed Car needs to be buffed Front end needs alignment Sold on GA bill of sale sold as-is (If you live outside the state of GA and need a title I can give you one for the car but GA WILL only issue a bill of sale to other GA Residents) Very resonable offers will be consider This is a cash only deal.
