2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4X4 V8 LOW STARTING PRICE AND NO RESERVE ! Leased new by our company for one of our sales people in November of 2007 and later purchased by his son, this truck was maintained by our in house ASE mechanic and the local Meineke from day one. It was in continuous service until last week when the engine developed a bottom end knock and lost oil pressure. A rebuild or engine swap is now required. Lot drives. The door panels, seats, dash, headliner, carpets and other soft trim show wear and need a good thorough cleaning. The only tear is in the back passenger side bottom cushion. Both drivers were nonsmokers. The transmission,transfers case, steering and brakes are fine. No leaks. Total mileage is 184,000. The body has a few character marks from other misbehaving drivers on the passenger side. It has never been in a major collision. With a wash and wax the paint will shine (it’s just too darn cold outside for me to do it now!), but it has nicks and scratches. All the trim is okay and glass good. The console box lid is broken. Every power accessory operates smoothly (windows, locks, seats, etc.). Detailed, comprehensive inspections are welcome. There is nothing to hide on this truck. After a quick search it looks like a remanufactured long block is about $2300. I'm sure a salvage yard would have a low miles unit cheaper. A master rebuild kit is about $795.On Feb-27-14 at 14:15:37 PST, seller added the following information: Yes, all the glass aside from the windshield and front windows were dark tinted from the factory.On Mar-02-14 at 07:13:01 PST, seller added the following information: It's not very clear in the photo but the plastic handle on the inside hood release is broken. The cable end is still there and a tug with a pair of pliers opens the hood with no problem. We had the same issue with our 2008 Chevy pickup and the part was $35 and the install only took about 30 minutes. Sorry I didn't mention this all before.
