I am selling two 2006 GMC W4500 box trucks. This auction is for one of them. They were used to haul mail and are being brought out of service because we went to smaller trucks. This truck has a 14 foot box on it with a lift gate. However the lift gate doesn't seem to have power right now. It was working when I purchased the truck and I never used it so I would imagine it cant be a major problem. The trucks have been very well maintained due to the fact that they had to be on the road 6 days a week year round. Cosmetically the truck needs cleaned and has a crack in the windshield. The box is in decent shape with some minor damage and scratches and the roll up door may need a little maintenance. It has the 5.2L diesel with about 173,000 miles on it. The only issue I know of with this truck is that under load the turbo will occasionally pop a hose off. It can be put back on in about five minutes and go on down the road. I am wanting to sell these trucks quickly because I have no use for them anymore and would be willing to negotiate a package deal if someone were to buy both of them. I am trying to tell everything I know about the trucks, but if you have any questions feel free to ask. These trucks are for sale locally so I may end this auction at anytime if the trucks are sold. This is a very similar truck to the other one I am selling that is why the descriptions are so close to the same.
