Up for sale is my 1970 Buick Electra 225 Convertible. As you already know, this is the last year for the Electra convertible and the only year with the 455 motor. I am selling it to make room for a C7 Corvette Convertible. This is a good driver condition vehicle. It has been used for parades, cruise nights, and just good old top down fun. It is finished in Bamboo cream with a white top and white/tan interior. The odometer shows 47,500 miles and is working properly. This would make a great restoration or get in and drive it as is. The interior is original but still functions well for being 44 years old. The engine and transmission perform flawlessly. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt 8 years ago and the transmission rebuilt a year later. The Buick was repainted 12 years ago. The paint still shines but there are scuff/scrapes around the car. There is a dent and scrape on the passenger side. The paint looks good from 10 feet away. The bumpers are original and shine but have some pitting. The A/C does not blow cold. The compressor was working this summer. It may need a recharge and conversion to 134. The power top works great. The tires have 40-50% tread left. The front brakes will need attention soon. My C7 Vette is on order and scheduled to arrive in 6 weeks.
