Donated to a local charity, this car amazingly came with a folder of receipts documenting all work performed since new. The paint appears original and is a bit dull but should shine up well with a proper detail. Unfortunately there is a stain in the paint just below the passenger side rear window (see photo) which will not polish out. The accent stripes are also beginning to peel, and the rubber bumpers are a bit faded. Inside, the seats, carpet, and headliner all look great. The fabric on the door panels is a bit loose (see photo) and a piece of trim on the dashboard is coming off. (all appear to be easy fixes) All controls appear to work well with the exception of the factory Clarion casette stereo. AC works but is a bit weak. Mechanically is where this car really shines. It starts easily and idles well. Runs fast and smooth with great turbo boost. Clutch and brakes also feel very healthy, but the front tires may need to be replaced soon. A nice example of an early Saab turbo with careful documentation from new. Fix the cosmetic issues while you enjoy driving it.
