Vehicle Detail

1976 Ice Green Metallic Porsche 911S - accident and rust free If you know your Porsche 911 models and their value, you will be happy to read this add. Most of the early Porsche models are prohibitive in terms of costs. Each early vintage is going up and up. The train has started for the 1974-77 Porsche 911. Just five years or so ago, you couldn’t give these cars away. The thermal reactor-equipped U.S. cars from 1975-77 made tons of heat, and head and case studs proved to be not up to the environment. It was a well-known problem that caused people to shy away from any 2.7 liter 911. At this point, most surviving cars have either gotten professional rebuilds or engine swaps from later 3.0 or 3.2 liter cars. Collectors are drawn to the chrome trim and bright period colors not seen on the more somber 911SC and 911 Carrera. Prices have gone through the roof of late. The most coveted are the Lifesaver colors like bright orange, yellow, or lime green and where you’ll likely do quite well as an investment. Recall that starting in 1976 on, all 911s got a dip in a zinc galvanizing bath prior to paint. The result was the best way to have access to a rust free early vehicle. It was not easy to find this vehicle, you see so many Porsche 911s where they repainted from the original paint code, or many that are rust buckets, so on and so on. This is not restored but in very nice shape to use as is, or to do a restoration to your liking. I have really pondered selling the vehicle but even with heartache, I rather pass it on to someone who will use value it and give it a good home. Good things do not come cheap so please only serious bidders with funds need to contact me.
