Vehicle Detail
One Owner Survivor! 1968 International Travelall 4x4 Deluxe. Factory 3 seat Travelall. 62698 original one owner miles. 304 V-8 Engine with 4-speed transmission. Deluxe trim package. IH original front hubs. Factory power steering. Factory radio. Factory dual fuel tanks. This came out of central Washington with very little rust and only one small dent in passenger side rear quarter panel (see picture). Other than that, the body is very solid and straight. I am told it was produced in 1967 and that it has left over 1967 front nose parts but is titled and was registered as a 1968 Travelall. Was bought on 11/22/1967 and last registered in 1987. Along with lots of dealer paperwork I have all the registration slips from 1967 to 1987 and the only set of license plates that were ever registered to this travelall.. It has never been wrecked or repainted and the interior is original (needs work). One headliner panel has fallen down and the seats are coming unstitched. The drivers seat back is coming apart. Some of the knobs in the interior have small pits starting to show (maybe could be polished out). As far as I can tell, all the gauges work. I have replaced a lot of rotten fuel lines and both fuel tanks were out. They were pretty bad inside and will need cleaned out better. The only one I could get to suck fuel is the passenger side. Both fuel filler hoses are pretty hard and showing cracks. The front windshield is cracked but the rest of the glass is in great shape. All the doors are very tight. I have not had the back glass down or the door open. The original muffler has rotted off. The sons were going to fix it up for their dad and had a new engine put in it a few years back, but the dad had trouble getting in it so it got parked and has been sitting ever sense. I did give it a tune up, change the oil, replace fuel pump, change coolant and it runs great now. I am trying to describe it as best I can with out someone being surprised. This is an original survivor that has not been bubbaized. I have only driven it around my shop. It starts right up and has good oil pressure with no leaks. Original jack still in engine compartment. What you will receive with travelall: Original State of Washington Certificate of Title dated 11/22/1967, Original Owners Service Policy, Original owners manual for IH front locking hubs, original owners manual for the IH radio, all Registration slips, misc spare parts and misc paperwork.
