Vehicle Detail

This beautiful Mopar is a real head turner! A `72 Demon front end with a 6 pack glass lift off hood, make this is a one of a kind, unique and great looking ride. The body is super solid – NO rust issues anywhere and it ain’t a “bondo bucket”! Light surface rust on tunk pan only!! See picture. The paint is a very nice older job that still shows well but does have a few minor scrapes / dings; it is a driver that resembles a show car, but a FAST show car! While the exterior “shines”, the drive train “rules”! New professionally built Best Machine Racing 493” 440 wedge stroker motor was dyno tested with certified readings of 550 HP and 600 ft. lbs. of torque – on pump gas!!! Engine was built with high quality components. Diamond pistons, Eagle rods and crank, Comp hydraulic cam, Performer RPM heads, 850 CFM QFT carb. Has MSD 6AL, electronic distributor as well. Has aluminum radiator, high volume electric fan, and a high volume electric water pump. Also has a brand new TCI Super Street Fighter transmission with a matching 10" converter and a Cheetah SCS shifter that allows either manual shifting, or just leave it in drive and go! Rear end is a Dana 60 with 4.10 gears and Moser axles, braced with an aluminum girdle and axle supports. Suspension upgrades include Caltracs bars and split mono leaf springs and a custom gas tank that allowed the stock fill location to remain intact and operational (there is an extra fuel cell in the trunk if you want to run nitrous – I never did)! This Mopar just plain sounds MEAN with Bob Mazzolini semi-fenderwell 2 1/8” headers, custom 3" exhaust and Dynomax mufflers! The interior is intact and very clean with a solid 8 point bar, 27 X 11.5 X 15 Hoosier DOT rear tires and front runners mounted on Centerline Wheels, this car drives great, needs very little maintenance and is ready to go. In drive, it ran a 7.26 in the 1/8th with a 1.53 60’ time, letting it shift itself @ 5500 – it WILL run quicker! Bottom line is this is an exceptional example of a standout street, strip and show Mopar – no illusions and no disappointments! True mileage unknown. Engine and trans have less than 50 hours run time! What doesn't work: horn(not installed), speedometer(not hooked up), gas gauge(sometimes). Clear title in my name. Do the math. By the time you find a solid Duster, do all of the bodywork and paint, add a new engine, trans, rear end and all the rest of the stuff, you'll spend much more than I am asking. Car is sold as is where is! Deposit is non-refundable. On Dec-21-13 at 20:35:16 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the rear end has a new heavy duty Yukon spool and the original radio still works! I also have the dyno sheets and a new dash cap to go with the car as well.
