Yes, 9k miles is accurate, not 109k! Car was last licensed in 1972 after a minor fender bender on the drivers rear quarter. Unbelievably after the minor collision, the original owner parked the car and it hasn't been driven in the last 42 years! I purchased it four years ago as a nice low mileage project. I like these roadsters having restored two others prior (both a 70 and a 67 model) however priorities changed and I am liquidating my roadster collection. Have chrome and lights that came with the car-will need chromed or painted. Motor has not been started in the same 42 years and may be stuck. I have never hooked a battery up-completely original with all smog equipment. The GOOD: Floors are completely dry and look almost new! The car is mostly complete and original. There is rust on the outside perimeter from stitting. The trunk floor and rear quarters are rusty as the trunk seal failed at some point. The glass is all great (windshield even still has factory sticker affixed-may be only one like this anywhere!). Interior is mostly intact except for carpet. The keys are MIA as they were misplaced sometime over the past 40years. Hardtop is in nice condition. The seals keep the moisture out but could use replaced. This is clearly a project but how often do you come across a roadster with this few miles. People bought these cars to drive, not hide away in a garage and look at! Title In Hand. Not included in the auction but available for anyone interested: *Also have another dry 68 rolling chassis with a started frame off restoration (stripped and painted frame/suspension ect). Would make a great donor if you wanted to avoid body work and rust repair on the 70. Title in hand for this car as well. *70 parts car. Very rusty and panels are mostly damaged.
