I'm listing my very own 1999 Saturn SL2 with about 37,000 miles. Per Auto Check's history report, this is a 3 owner Saturn. AutoCheck's Score is 28. Similar vehicles scored between 14 and 37, so this one scored average. I will be glad to email the report upon request. I purchased this Saturn from an elder's lady state via my friends church with the intentions in giving it to my mother, but she decided to buy something else. Now she has car payments! The main reason why I jumped into the opportunity of buying this SL2 was simply because its incredible low, low miles. Cosmetically it has its issues, but again, because its low miles mechanically this Saturn still drives like a new car, Steering is straight, brakes are linear and the ride is smooth and tight! A/C blows cold and just about everything works as it should. However, the power locks don't work so it needs to be locked manually with key, or by hand, the old-fashioned way! Other than this, everything else seems operable.As previously mentioned, cosmetically this Saturn has its issues. Portions of the paint finish, particularly on the roof by the windows, have fading, and some scuffs and blemishes throughout the body too. The obvious one is a scrape through both of the driver's side doors (see photos). The interior is decent too, but the carpets have some stains. Also, it has various cigarette burns, on the driver seat and door. I had the interior professionally cleaned and shampoo so there's no smell whatsoever! Tires are in average condition, I would say they have about another year left on them, and recent new battery!In conclusion, if looking for an affordable/reliable vehicle, with very low miles, and can live with some of its cosmetic's points, then I feel that buying this Saturn is a sensible choice!
