I got lucky and stumbled upon this 1981 cr450R by word of mouth hiding in downtown Newark NJ in a 3 story warehouse !!! it was upstairs on the 3rd floor covered in dust !! been there since 1983 how you see it is how I found it...just blew off the dust ..I did nothing to get this bike running... I want whoever buys it to see the way I got it ...the owner parked it 1983 said it ran perfect, the only work that was done according to him was a new kickstarter shaft was installed twice !! due to snapping off ! that's it, all original parts even tires the seat is mint cond soft no rips, if your looking for a true virgin this is it ! untouched, never raced or beaten ridden mostly in sand he said !! the back tire tells the story!! I have the original HONDA TITLE AND SALES RECIEPT the bike has 51.50 horsepower and weighs 229 pounds !! I also have the original sales invoice too ! it cost 2031.25 brand new, have a torn shop manual too, the colors are bright, it is a pretty mean looking bike too it will have too be serviced, fluids changed, plug, air filter, carb cleaned, but again really want someone who appreciates an orig unmolested CR450R to work on it bring it back to riding showing glory ...there original only once I can be reached at 732 406 6285 GREGG anytime to discuss there is a very reasonable reserve for this 450R there could be a buy it now price if you want call to discuss thanks, hope someone appreciates the FIND I got here for sale, you will see in the pics the stairs we had to get it down, and also the orig owner with me good luck
