1963 Volkswagen VW 23 Window Samba Sunroof Bus I am pleased to offer this very desirable 1963 VW 23 window Samba Sunroof Bus. VIN # 430025056. Great light mint green color. You just can't get any cooler than this!Original motor has been replaced with larger VW motor which helps it to keep up with modern traffic. Bus has been lowered slightly and can be put back to stock if needed. Mileage on the odometer shows 92,609 but mileage is exempt.Features 4 speed trans. which shifts great. Has modern stereo with Ipod hookup and large Samba panoramic sunroof.Body has some filler which is normal for a vehicle that was restored approx. 20 years ago. Overall bus is very presentable. You'd be so cool driving this bus around town.Restored Interior is a 7 out of 10. Could use some TLC but overall very nice with no rips, tears etc. Owner rates this bus overall at a 6.5 to 7 out of 10 and he is very picky. Just minor nicks and scuffs are noted. This is not a fully and freshly restored bus but an older restoration in very presentable condition. Data Tag:The data tag was removed during restoration many years ago and was not reinstalled (common but unfortunate). If the data tag was in place, the asking price would be significantly higher. A VIN tag is now in that place. A California VIN was assigned and that VIN per the title, matches the tag.
