This is a 1959 Edsel Villager 6 Passenger Station Wagon. It has the 303HP 361CI Super Express V8 engine and Dual Power 3-Speed Automatic transmission. While that combination may not be ultra rare, it is certainly not easy to find. Even better, this one runs and drives. (It’s running in the first picture.) It does smoke, so if you planned to use the motor either in this car or another one, I would freshen it up first. Someone removed the master cylinder before I bought the car, so although it does run and drive, I wouldn’t take it on the next family vacation. The outer body looks pretty straight, but it does have some rust. There is rust in the floors too, but the rear well area is clean. Both rocker panels are rusty and would need to be replaced. Both quarter panels have rust in them on the lower parts and along the wheel openings. Although the floors have rust in them, the front body mounts look to be in really good shape. The interior is pretty complete. The grill has quite a bit of pitting and some of the glass is cracked. When I drive it around, I use a hot wire kit. If you want to drive it, either to try out or to load on a trailer, then you can bring your own kit or else borrow mine. My kit consists of a carb connection, fuel line, fuel jug, electric fuel pump, some wiring, ignition resistor, starter switch and a battery. This would be a great car to either fix up or use as a donor for another 59 Edsel. If you have a six cylinder car or a small V8 car, then this would be the perfect setup for you to upgrade it to a Super Express and Dual Power. If no one buys it, I will probably end up parting it out at some point as I just don't have time for another project. I may be able to assist with delivery, depending on where you’re located.
