THE POWER CONVERTIBLE TOP IS NEW, BUT THE TOP'S POWER MECHANISM IS NOT WORKING AND THE TOP WILL NOT GO DOWN UNDER POWER. THE MOTORS SEEM TO BE THE PROBLEM, BUT WE HAVE NOT DIAGNOSED THAT TO BE THE CASE FOR SURE. THE TOP CAN BE LOWERED MANUALLY, BUT THE TOP BOOT WILL NOT LATCH AFTER THE TOP IS LOWERED AND THEREFORE IT WILL CATCH THE WIND WHEN DRIVING. THE ONLY OTHER ELECTRONIC ITEM NOT WORKING PROPERLY IS THE ON-BOARD COMPUTER (AVG. MILEAGE, TRIP, ETC) LOCATED BEHIND THE GEAR SHIFT LEVER. THE COMPUTER HAS NO DISPLAY.
ALL THE OTHER POWER FEATURES AND OPTIONS WORK. THIS INCLUDES THE HARMAN/KARDON PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM, THE POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, POWER MIRRORS, POWER STEERING, AND POWER BRAKES.
THE A/C BLOWS COLD, THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY, AND THIS CAR IS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE!
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, BUT THE CAR RUNS FINE. WE HAVE NOT DIAGNOSED THE REASON FOR THE LIGHT BEING ON, BUT IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE CAR'S DRIVEABILITY OR PERFORMANCE.

THE EXTERIOR IS NICE! THIS BMW HAS A NICE LOOKING, STRAIGHT AND RUST FREE BODY. THE PAINT LOOKS GOOD! IT IS GLOSSY ALL AROUND THE CAR. THE PAINT DOES HAVE SOME TINY CHIPS AND LIGHT SCRATCHES IN IT (MAINLY ON THE FRONT END), BUT NOTHING MAJOR. THE PAINT COLOR IS CONSISTENT ALL AROUND THE CAR. THE HEADLIGHTS NEED TO BE BUFFED. OVERALL THE EXTERIOR LOOKS VERY GOOD.
THIS BMW HAS GOOD GLASS ALL AROUND, NICE ORIGINAL ALLOY WHEELS AND ALMOST NEW TIRES WITH ABOUT 95% OF THEIR TREAD REMAINING!
THE INTERIOR LOOKS DECENT OVERALL. THE FRONT SEATS LOOK GOOD AND ARE NOT RIPPED (THEY HAVE NORMAL LEATHER CREASING AND A LITTLE DYE WEAR ON THE OUTSIDE BOLSTERS)(SEE PICS BELOW). THE REAR SEAT LEATHER IS STAINED AND RIPPED AND HAS DUCT TAPE ON THE BOTTOM CUSHIONS OF BOTH SEATS (SEE PICS).
