1984 Chevy Corvette (original build sheet and manuals are included) =) ================================================================= Please help us... help ourselves. We are selling our 1984 Chevy Corvette (it is Red and has 68,500 miles). Much like the story of the craigslist red paperclip (where a person traded up from a red paperclip into eventually trading up to a house)... we traded/bartered our way up from a 2003 Sebring with 188,000 miles to a 2006 Chevy Uplander to this 1984 Chevy Corvette (in an effort to raise funds). We are selling our Corvette to help defer our medical bills, pay for medical insurance, and defer the cost of unemployment:my wife is disabled due to being a gunshot victim (12 years ago, she was shot in a restaurant being in the wrong place at the wrong time), plus she has Bladder Cancer (Stage 1) and has had tumors removed during 5 of 7 procedures.I am a Honorably Discharged Veteran (I was in the Marine Corps for almost 7 years). I've been unemployed for 14 months and I am waiting for a disability decision from Social Security and from the VA (I suffer from PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, & Gouty Arthritis).our 24 year old son is developmentally disabled (he was born premature, he has partial CP, he is slightly autistic, and has a 59 functional IQ). He works part-time at Walmart putting away carts and doing occasional cleaning services.
