Up for auction is a beautiful 1969 SS 396 Chevelle. This car was a complete frame off restoration and is an extremely clean car. This car is a true SS. The original trunk & floor are solid as a rock! The engine and transmission are the correct year and type for this car but are NOT matching numbers. The car is 98% CORRECT!!! Everything is basically stock (power steering, power brakes/disc) except for the engine, it is the correct rebuilt 396 with a few upgrades - 0.30 over with a mild roller cam, edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley HP 750 duel feed mechanical secondary carb, headers, flow masters and a stock appearing MSD HEI distributer. Approx. 3000 miles since rebuild.The original factory color was the ugly green, but is now the factory special order "Hugger Orange". (original factory paint code 72) The paint job on this car is second to none, and has the original SS stripe decals down the sides. This car runs and drives down the road better than when it was new. Every part and piece on this car has been professionally reconditioned or replaced with new. I have not put this car up for sale locally.
