Our beloved 2003 Eurovan's motor has died and rather than scrap it I am auctioning it off as a parts vehicle. Great parts car for someone who owns a Eurovan already. Overall in good cosmetic condition with some new parts installed in the past year (power brake booster, cam position sensors and crank shaft sensor, front brake pads and sensor, rear exhaust system). It has all the original seats with headrests, folding table, rear deck with pad, etc. A great family camping vehicle when the seats are all folded down flat to create a bed. There are too many details to go over here but please email additional questions or requests for photos of individual parts. Van is currently garaged in Providence, RI and would have to be picked up. Again, if you have specific parts of the van you are interested in seeing I can post or send additional pictures. 1. engine: we're pretty positive the timing chain slipped. It was hard starting for a few weeks and when I last brought it to the mechanic he couldn't start it at all. Computer was throwing timing error codes and cam position fault codes prior to this which is why we replaced the cam position sensors and the crankshaft sensor. Another VW mechanic took a look and said he was getting "low" to "no" compression in the cylinders. 2. interior: everything is intact, all seats, headrests, rear deck and pad, one cup holder has come loose, sliding door panel is coming loose, the factory stereo is gone (the slot is currently empty as I had just bought a stereo to put in), one rear facing jump seat has a tiny hole in the fabric (1/8"-1/4) 3. exterior: van shows typical wear, scuffed bumpers on the front corners, small scratches on the rear bumper, scuffs on the rear view mirrors, drivers side mirror assembly is cracked and mirror has popped off, sliding door has a 2-3 ft. long dent/scratch from scraping up against my house, one of the alloy rims is missing the VW logo. I have a handful of the service records from Providence Automotive that list the work done in the last couple of years.
