IT DOESN'T RUN! Well, actually it WILL start (sometimes) but makes more clatter than a diesel engine with the knocking. Figure it needs a new engine and anything less will mean you're ahead. A phone call to a local junkyard or online search for a site like Car-Part will produce dozens of this one with well under 100,000 miles for less than $2,000 complete. Needless to say, since it won't really run or drive, we don't know the condition of anything else like the transmission or air-conditioning. This Camry also needs a new glass in the driver's door mirror, the windshield has a big horizontal crack, the carpet and seats need a good cleaning and there are a few "bumps and bruises" to the exterior we've highlighted in the photos. The paint IS all original as far as we're able to tell with the Elcometer electronic paint depth gauge.
