The 2.7L 187-horsepower 4-cylinder engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, delivers 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. If you add a trailer hitch, this particular model can pull 3,500 lbs. The Highlander is one of the most refined vehicles in its class.
