The Good : Bullet proof Inline 6 that runs like a champ and runs strong. Good transmission that shifts like it should. 4 wheel drive that will climb like our National deficit. Good breaks. Hot heat. Cold air conditioning. A fully functional SUV that will get you where you need to go. The Bad: Body isn't pretty. 3 different tires and 2 different rims. Surface rust on the roof and inside floor boards. Carpet was removed. This is a good, safe and reliable SUV for cheap. Its not pretty and I'll tell you that up front. If your looking for something that'll win car shows move on to the next Cherokee. If your looking for something you can modify or daily drive into the ground, then this is your Huckleberry. It has surface rust on the roof and on the inside floor. No rust through just surface rust that could be lightly sanded off. Everything on the Cherokee works but it could use some attention. For instance the valve cover has a slight oil leak which they all do and is very easy to fix due to the straight 6. Also it could use a new set of shocks as the ride is very firm when you hit bumps. The truck does have 3 different tires on 2 different wheels. I do not have the 4th black wheel but these are easy to find and are cheap. Be advised the truck does not shimmy, shake or pull due to this tire issue. The motor pulls strong and has pep as it should. The transmission shifts with no problem. And the 4 Wheel drive climbs like our National Deficit. These are the only two things that need attention and neither is immediate nor does either need to be done for you to drive it home.
