This is a very rare, one owner car stored for last 8 years. Body is in great condition but decals have expected weathering for a car this age. Car repainted and re-decaled (all stock) in 1987 due to sun/weathering from southern climate. Two tires are flat and need replaced, other two are 20 years old and probably all four need replaced. Tailpipe came loose in 2005 due to corroded clamps, so exhaust system needs some work. Car remains all stock (not customized) other than glass packs added in 1991 for louder sound. Has stock gold turbo aluminum wheels in excellent condition. Estimated restoration: body--mild. Interior-- front seats need replaced due to wear. Mechanical--exhaust needs work; not sure how carb is; all engine parts intact other than some paper/plastic and decals that need replaced. Great car to restore into daily driver, or restore completely into show-worthy car. Note again, all stock parts present; owned by doctor for 32 years and not raced, wrecked, or abused. Movie trivia: This 1981 Black Turbo T/A is similar to the 1980 Trans Am used in the 1980 movie "Smoky and the Bandit II"--only diff. between 1980 and 1981 are some minor trim differences such as the shade of gold used on the hood bird and stripes.
