The ’57 Chevy is one of the most recognized icons in the Automotive industry. Stylish and Sporty the there’s no doubt that it’s one of America’s best and most loved cars. Especially the 57 Nomad. They made fewer Nomads than convertables. The Chevrolet Nomads are an excellent investment. The Bel Air was distinguished with more chrome and featured a golden grille set off with a heavy chrome bar that included parking lights. The rear fins were capped with chrome moldings and highlighted with anodized aluminum side trim panels. The fuel-filler door was concealed in the left rear chrome fin trim, a small but convenient detail that helped clean up exterior lines. This is a fine original example of one of the 6103 built that year. The 1957 Nomad is the most desirable out of all three year nomads. This Nomad has been in Southern California in a garage for the last 50 years. There is virtually no rust on the car except on one of the lower fenders. No rust at all in the floors, no rust in the rockers, roof drip rails and no rust in the tailgate. Anyone who knows the 57's, know that they almost always have rust in them. This is a finer example of a rust free Nomad. The car runs great with the 1967 327 Corvette motor. This car can be a driver as is or a great candidate to be restored. This is up to the buyer.
