You are bidding on a very clean and well cared for 1998 Chevy C3500 Crewcab Cheyenne dually with the 5.7 liter V-8 engine and automatic overdrive transmission. The truck has a nice Omaha brand service/utility bed on it. THIS TRUCK WAS OWNED BY AN AFFLUENT SUBURB OF DALLAS IT'S ENTIRE LIFE. IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY WELL SERVICED AND HAS ONLY 79,272 MILES ON IT. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free). The truck has NO RUST on it. Please look at the 90 plus pictures I have posted below for you. The truck has had some paint work on the passenger's side due to the normal paint flaking these years experienced. There is also some very light hail on the hood ( I tried to get pictures as best I could). The bed is in very nice shape. All the doors and locks work properly and I have keys to all the locks. The bed has been coated with a spray-in bedliner material to protect it. The bed appears to have been lightly used. There are no major dents or issues, but of course it does have the normal scratches and such that you would expect. The interior shows very wear. There are no holes, tears or rips in the seats, headliner or flooring. The truck has vinyl bench seats in front and rear. The truck has carpet in the front and rubber flooring in the rear. The truck appears to have never been smoked in.
I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. THIS TRUCK NEEDED NEXT TO NOTHING DONE TO IT. The city that it came from keeps their vehicles in extremely nice shape. I have bought about 2 dozen vehicles from them over the years and have yet to be disappointed. This truck has NO leaks, NO drips and does NOT smoke. The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly. THIS TRUCK IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND BE PUT RIGHT TO WORK. The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly. There are no wobbles or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway. The front tires are about 90% and the rear range from 40 to 80%. They are wearing smoothly. The brakes have over 50% life left on them. All the electronic equipment works like new, including the light bar and spotlight. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST.
