Auctioning off my daughter's 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt 4 door...no reserve! Pros: It has 71,758 miles on it and starts and runs well. It starts and drives well. Kelly Blue Book value in fair condition is $4,844 and $5394 in good condition. Cons: It needs some trim pieces, a new door handle on driver's door, a cover on the passenger side mirror (see pics) a trunk lock and front brakes are bad. But again, it starts and It drives well. When she bought it from someone in Indiana, it had a normal title but when she tried to title and register it in IL, the secretary of state claims to have issues a salvage title in the past and assumes it was rebuilt. As a result, it needs two inspections: one by the Secretary of state to ensure it is road safe and second, by the Illinois state police. Once those are completed, they will issue a rebuilt title. We don't have the resources to make the above mentioned repairs and just want to sell it as is. That is why the starting price is so low relative to the value. If you are auto-handy or have friends who are mechanics, you could get it ready for about $500 (my best guess). I have great feedback on ebay and am describing this as best as I can. I encourage any questions you may have. She paid $4,500 for it in early 2012 and hasn't driven it due to these issues. Here's a chance to get it cheap! Again, no reserve. Thanks for looking.
