Vehicle Detail
This vehicle is for sale by a used car dealership in Prattville, Al. The vehicle is also for sale on site at the dealership and Pigg Enterprises reserves the right to end the auction at any time. Vehicle is sold AS-IS with no warranty written or implied. Buyer will be responsible for transportation. If buyer is a resident of Alabama you will be responsible to pay taxes here at our dealership (3.1%). We also charge a $249 document preparation fee. WE REQUIRE A $1,000 DEPOSIT WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION. FULL PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE THROUGH PAYPAL, CASH AT DEALERSHIP, OR WIRED INTO PIGG ENTERPRISES BANK ACCOUNT. We have for sale a 1978 Camaro that was traded in at our dealership. We were told by the person who traded it, that he was the second owner, and that it has 78k original miles. We will attempt to show the true condition of the car through plenty of pics. This would make a good daily-driver quality car just like it sits! Or you have a very solid car to go as far as you want with anything from a partial, to full restoration. You can click on this hyperlink (http://www.piggent.com/detail.aspx?id=3532400&PrefID=0&.aspx) to our website to show numerous pictures that we could not post to ebay. This is an Alabama vehicle with very little rust. We will show what we have found in pics. We did not observe any rust in the trunk and the underside of the car is very solid. It appears that the car was originally red, and had a silver re-paint. Car has a 305 V-8 with 4 bbl carb and automatic transmission. We have not run numbers, but it probably has original engine and transmission. Original radio, and it plays. This Camaro runs and drives great just like it is. You could be cruising in it this weekend without doing anything to it. Things we have done to Camaro since trading it in: 4 new tires. New battery. New spark plugs and plug wires. Rebuilt the carburetor. Things that are not perfect and could be improved or fixed. Paint is shiny and looks OK, but does have a few cracked and rusted spots. Carpet is faded in some areas but could be dyed and would be fine. Driver seat vinyl is cracked. A/C compressor is missing and A/C has been unhooked. Hoses and other equipment are still there. Someone has put some screws in back edge of dash to secure it in place. Tach and gages under the dash are not hooked up or don’t work. Factory speedometer and gages work. Clips that hold A/C vent under dash on driver side are broken, but the vent is staying in place now. We strongly suggest that you get the car inspected prior to bidding unless you are comfortable without one. We have done our best to describe the car accurately, but it is a 35 year old car and we may have missed something. Car is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty implied or written. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost and arrangements from our lot to the destination of buyer’s choosing. We will cooperate with shipping company. This car is for sale locally on our lot and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. For a 1978 this Camaro is in way above average condition. Our reserve is reasonable and you can have a great classic at a good price.
