NO RESERVE! HIGH BIDDER WINS! This 1978 Tintop Westfalia is just plain AWESOME! Offered for sale is our 1978 Volkswagen Westfalia Tintop Westfalia. It runs and drives nice. We purchased this from a friend who lived in New Mexico where it spent most of its life, it was restored less than 2 years ago and lightly used since. Its looks great for being 35 years old. It has its correct 2000cc fuel injected type 4 engine with a 4speed manual transmission and runs and drives nice. When the bus was restored, it had new paint, rubber seals, emblems, marker lights, chrome, new windshield and seal, new interior, including new door panels, new kick panels, custom seat covers, seat padding, seat mats, rare side-step below the sliding door, custom Pergo floors throughout, new mirrors, & more! I just installed brand new white wall tires last week as well. Tens of thousands of dollars and time invested in this bus over the years. Buy it now for a small fraction of whats invested. This is an excellent investment that will only continue to increase in value. We are the 3rd owners, the previous owners were friends of ours that used it sparingly for local camping and shows then parked it away in there garage. This is one of those buses that just gets your head spinning everytime you see it. It not perfect, but a lot nicer than most all others on the road. It sleeps 2, it has a sink, plenty of cabinets for storage, and ice box to keeps things cool while camping or traveling. In closing, this is one of those Westfalias that makes you stop and stare, and the more you look, the more you love it.
