Up for Auction is this 1967 Mustang A-code Fastback ! This Fastback is an excellent project for someone to restore back to Original or would be a Good foundation for building a 67-68 Shelby GT350 / GT500 tribute or Eleanor clone. Why spend $16K on a Dynacorn Shell / kit with no Vin # or a Rusty project and then spend thousands on parts, Rust repairs and the Time. The original Exterior color for this Mustang was Nightmist Blue which is one of my favorites. The interior was originally 2 Tone Blue Deluxe with the brushed aluminum dash and door panels ! A great combination, that looks fantastic. This car is nicely optioned with an A-code 289 4V ( 4 barrel carb ) Auto transmission, folding rear seat, overhead console and Power disc brakes which is all there. See the attached Marti Report for more details about how the car was built. I just completed welding new floorpans and seat risers in this car. The car has new Tail-light panel, one new quarter panel and a couple new fender aprons installed. The hood, fenders, doors, quarters and original decklid are all nice and solid. Both front and rear frame rails are all good and solid. Both shock towers are good and solid. The roof is perfect. Nice body that is straight and solid. There a few exterior parts that are included with the car but just not installed on it. No need because they would be just coming back off. These parts include the front windshield molding, front turn signal lights, rocker moldings and a brand new front bumper. I have already installed a new rear bumper. The roof-rail, drip-rail, and rear windshield moldings are on the car. I will also install a trunk latch on the car before it leaves here. That is why the trunk looks to be partially open in the pics. The interior is complete except the thin molding that covers the seam between the top and bottom fiberglass panels. All of the fiberglass panels and trap door are in nice shape with no speaker holes. The door panels need to be replaced but are good for cores since they have the molding and trim. The dash pad is brand new. Missing a headliner ( $30 ) but the original bows are there and so is the original overhead console with map-lights. The steering wheel and heater control panel are off the car in the pictures but these are included and I just had not installed the steering wheel on it yet. Currently the engine and transmission are out of the car and will need to be rebuilt. However, this is the Original 289 4V V8 engine for the car. I also have a correct Mustang C4 transmission for the car. The original Power disc brakes are complete. I would be willing to set the engine and trans back in the car for easier transport. - Please read Below: A deposit of $ 500 is due within 48 hours of the ending of the auction. However, the previous owner had a 4 speed manual transmission in this car, therefore the car has a clutch pedal. If you plan to use a manual transmission in the car, I will leave them in there. IF you plan to an Automatic Transmission then I will give you a correct Automatic brake pedal for Power Disc brakes. Your choice. I could bolt it together and set it in the engine compartment for ya, but it still will need to be taken apart and rebuilt correctly. I do have good running 302 V8 engine 4V with Auto trans with low miles that is in another mustang I have. I would consider pulling that and setting this in the car for you. But this engine and trans would be additional. Just let me know if that is an option your interested in. I would only sell it through ebay with this car.
