Here I have listed a 1986 Corvette that I have been working on for the last four years (at one time I made my living as a mechanic). Every device/part/option/function in the car works flawlessly, and as expected. The car runs, and drives great. I have posted a list of most, but not all, of the replacements I have made. Generally I relentlessly pursued OEM parts. Video clips available upon request. Request MUST include a valid email address, that clip access link can be sent to. The only piece of the renewal of this car I did not get to was the paint. It needs to be painted. It needs little attention to the body, to get it ready for paint. Prior to my obtaining the car it had a rear spoiler removed, and the filling/repair of the four mounting holes could have been done better. And some typical marks on the bumpers. Some peeling. Nothing broken, missing. Some of the replacements are: New Alternator – AC/Delco remanufacturedNew Starter – AC/Delco remanufacturedNew Air Pump – AC/Delco remanufacturedNew Power Steering Pump - AC/Delco remanufacturedNew Battery – BochNew WindshieldExhaust - New Front Y pipe, Catalytic Converter, Rear Y pipe connecting to Flow Master Mufflers.New drive shaft and half shaft universal joints.New Air Conditioning Compressor, Evaporator, high and low pressure lines and sensors, Condenser and all O-rings. All of these part are GM OEMNew, in dash, Heating/Air Conditioner control head. GM OEMNew rack and pinion steering unit (Rock Auto), with two new AC/Delco tie rod ends. New AC/Delco steering pump to rack high pressure hose. New rack to reservoir return hose. New reservoir to pump suction hose. New front sway bar bushings (frame and end bushings).New distributor – DUI Performance. New Spark plug’s and wires – AC/Delco OEM. (Still have original, which works perfectly)New fuel injectors - Boch. All new fuel rail o-rings. New AC/Delco Electric fuel pump/with sock and pulsator. New Adjustable fuel pump regulator. New cold start injector. New fuel filter.New Automatic Transmission filter and fluid. New GM OEM Flex Plate.All Bose Amps and Speakers replaced. GM/Bose AM/FM/CD player installed from 79 Camaro (still have original, which works perfectly), which is a direct fit, no vehicle alterations at all. New Bose power relay. New power antenna relay. New AC/Delco Electric Antenna. Dash Display replaced with rebuilt unit, using OEM LCD’s. All new dash backlighting bulbs. New replacement Visors.Dash trim replaced with GM OEM parts. Console trim replaced with GM OEM parts. New shifter boot.New head light switch.New Carpet – BlackNew seat leather – Black. New rebuilt drivers power seat unit.Both door panels replaced (black) with units from 88 Corvette.All new weather stripping from Corvette America.Two replacement electric window regulators – new design. GM OEM.New AC/Delco IAC, EGR valve, PCV Valve, Air and water temperature senders, oil pressure and temperature senders.New AC/Delco remanufactured ECM.New AC/Delco Serpentine Belt tensioner.Recent 4 wheel alignment and wheel balance.New headlamps.New O2 sensor.New AC/Delco fuel pump relay.Have GM Factory Service and Parts manuals.Recent (still virtually new) Dunlop tires (275/35R/18) on ZR-1 18” aftermarket rims.
