What we have here is a 1966 Renault 8, a real collectors item. This car has been in storage since 1974, and has the orginal Bill of Sale 1966 from El Paso, Texas. I have had this car on the hoist, and is free of rust holes. There is some light surface rust though. This vehicle idles well and has not over heated. Once in gear you can be on your way down the road. Brakes work, but will need attention sooner or later. Windshield wipers, lights, turn signals, windows, door locks, interior light, and all electrical works. I have drove the car, but only around a block, gas tank and fuel pump both need to be cleaned out. Motor does not smoke or make any unusual noises. The front two tires are the orginal Michelin tires that came with the car.The back two tires are what we call "Donut" tires. The car drives well with no essive play in the steering, and does not shake. I have gone up to 60mph, but 50mph is more suitable to drive in. This car as far as I know has not been in a movie, but should be. This car knows how to draw attention.
