Previous salvage title due to a theft recovery. Body restored and painted in 1987-88. the only body panel required before it was painted was the nose piece.The driver rear quarter panel was repaired without replacing.This car was never cut into or pieced together from another car. The floor is rusty and has been since I got it in 1987 but has never been welded on.2.The paint is still good as it had 7 coats when painted.3 coats of primer and four coats of paint.3.The body is in good condition considering it's age.The floor is still rusty yet solid enough to drive it without getting wet.There is rust showing in the rockers after 26 years of my ownership.4.The engine was good when parked and I am responsible for letting it sit for over 8 years. The Spica fuel injection is good except for the cold start solenoid. The car was hard to start because it was loading up with fuel when starting cold and I was told by my mechanic it was the solenoid. That was when I gave up on it being busy with other more important things It was parked in a garage until 3 years ago and has been under tarp and sitting outside since then.5. Because it has been out side the canvas top is discolored and is torn on the top.pretty grungy. It will have to be replaced.6.The transmission is good save the second gear syncro that all of them have troubles with . Clutch good but slave cylinder rubber cover is torn and leaks.7 The interior is good as I had the seats re-upholstered all that time ago yet they have held up. The door panels are good and the floor mats are the original rubber. Dash is cracked as usual and the center console is fair but complete.Gauges all work and the glass is good.8 The wheels are good. Tires are junk.9 The brakes were good but the calipers are seized and the car will no roll. Calipers will probably be needed.10. The front bumper is damaged and the drivers side bumper section is off the the car. I have it and it is complete minus the turn signal lens. I have a new lens for it.The fuel tank has been dry and should not be a problem to fill.The fuel pump was devoid of fuel and could possibly run but most likely not.All in all it drove great for me for about twenty years so it could be a fun project again. I had it serviced several times by Mike Bezik in Glenn Ellen Ill. and he said it was one of the fastest spiders he had ever driven.I wish I had time to restore it but don't and am offering the car for a fair price to move it fast. The asking price is half of what it could be pieced out for,,,and I won't or can't do that to this Italian work of art. I have sold my 1972 Alfa GTV 2 years ago and for the first time in 26 years will be Alfa-less. Not sure how to feel about it.
