Here is a 1985 Westlake Speedway race bike. No brakes, just a clutch, throttle and kill switch to control it (thats the speedway rules). You fill the tiny tank with alcohol, push start it, gas it, put it in a left turn, cross it up and go like hell. This has to be one of the wildest forms of racing out there. The bike has good compression and spark. I have not had the chance to get it started but I purchased it from a close friend of mine who did start it before he bought it. This bike would make a great addition to any bike collectors stable. This american made speedway 500cc engine was designed and produced by a champion rider/ engineer. It's a very interesting piece of racing history that is supposed to have a winning race record although I have not had time to research it properly. England by Harry Westlake so I may have got my history on the bike wrong. The man sounds like he knows what he is talking about so if where it was built would be an issue for you, you might do some more research. Thanks Harvey
