You are bidding on a very nice 2000 Chrysler Town and Country LX with a Braun Entervan wheelchair accessible conversion package on it. DO not let the 137,492 miles on this one scare you. This is a ONE owner SOUTHERN van that has been extremely well cared for. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free). The van is powered by the dependable 3.3 liter V-6 engine and automatic overdrive transmission. The exterior of the van is in great shape. It has a brand new paint job that looks fantastic. The van had the typical clear coat problem that is common with Dodges from that era. The clearcoat was simply flaking off all over. That and there was a crack in the rear bumper cover from the wreck you see on Carfax. THERE WAS NO OTHER DAMAGE TO THE VAN. We replaced the bumper cover with a brand new one and repainted the entire van. The front tires are brand new and the rear tires have about 70% tread left on them. The interior of the van is holding up great. There are no holes, tears or rips in the seats, carpet or headliner. The van comes equipped with a power sliding passenger's side door, power folding ramp, power transfer chair on the passenger's side, EZ-lock wheelchair anchoring system, wheelchair anchoring points thru-out the van, 1 set of wheelchair anchoring straps and hand controls for the gas/brake. The door and ramp are controlled by both switches in the van and handheld wireless remote. The van did have a kneeling system, but this has been disabled (this era kneeling system was known to fail and leave you stranded, so I find most of them are disabled). The van also has a removeable driver's seat, so that you can drive from your chair or scooter, if desired. The E-Z lock system is located underneath the driver's seat, but you could relocate it anywhere you wish. This van was built by The Braun Corp, themselves, not by someone in their garage. It has the nice lowered floor, from right before the front of the rear seat all the way to the firewall. This gives you 57 1/2 inches of headroom inside the van and 53 inches of clearance in the passenger's side entry. The van also has a manual driver's side sliding door. This allows passengers to exit and enter the van without having to put the ramp up and down. The van appears to have never been smoked in.
I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. The following are either brand new or have very recently been replaced on this van: The entire A/C system (compressor, condensor, evaporator, dryer, orifice tube, expansion valve, freon, oil, etc), the radiator, water pump, valve cover gaskets (these are prone to leaking) and brakes. I can give you receipts for most of these. The van has NO mechanical or electrical issues at all. THIS VAN IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND BE ENJOYED RIGHT AWAY. It has NO leaks, NO drips and does not smoke. The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly. I also had it serviced and inspected by a front-end shop. It has no wobbles or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway. I also had the mobility equipment serviced and inspected by a mobility dealer here in the area. Everything works as it should (except the kneel as noted earlier). All the power and electronic equipment work like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST.
