Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1959 Chevy Apache. I have a clean VA title that is titled in my name. I drove this truck to my home last year but it has been sitting since. It will start with a jump and a funnel of fuel, the line to the tank needs replaced. It’s a six cylinder 3 on the tree, the brakes are out but I have all new brake parts still in box. The truck comes with two other motors, one is a 1956 261 cubic inch bored .030. I have some paper work with that motor. The second is a 350 4 bolt main and tranny and they need rebuilt. The truck is in decent shape but does have some rot (as seen in pictures). The seat is definitely not original but fits well; it’s just sitting in there. The paint has a nice wet patina look (when wet like pictured lol). I have a ton of new parts that go with the truck including door and window rubbers; I don’t know if they are all there or not. Also included are three extra bumpers, two are new old stock chrome. If you're looking to restore one this is it. I think the value of the new parts alone are worth close to the starting bid. If you have any questions please email me and I will answer them to the best of my knowledge, but keep in mind I am NOT an auto mechanic. This truck will sell with no reserve. Winning bidder is to pay a $200 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of winning the truck and the balance in cash at time of pickup. I can deliver for additional fees ($2.50 a mile) or if you’re located between central Virginia and N.E. Ohio I can deliver for less since I’ll be making that trip in Oct. I have the right to end this auction early. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.Update: I've added photo's of what I think to be the worst of the rust.
