Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is My 1972 Pontiac Grandville. I have owned this car going on 4 years. I have driven over 3000 miles with it and it is a nice driver. It has a 455 motor in it and runs great. The engine can set all winter and fires right up in the spring and does not smoke a bit. Engine and transmission works as it should. I replaced the rear coil springs and installed new shocks when I got it. The car is showing its age but has a lot of potential. The interior is all there and everything works and looks decent. The air does not blow cold. Heat works fine. The window motors and the wiper motor has been replaced and the windows go up and down fine. The convertible top is in decent shape. the passenger side convertible release handle tip broke off but still works. If you want a new one they have them on Ebay. It goes up and down pretty good but sometimes you have to give it a helping hand at the very top to get over the hump. The car has a CD player with Alpine dash speakers. The gas tank was repaired and resealed but for some reason the other day when I filled it all the way up It poured gas till it went down a little. I do not believe its the tank I believe the mechanic did not tighten up the hose enough. The reason we resealed the tank was it was leaking at the seam a little. This problem is fixed so i'm positive the new leak is the line or connection to the tank. The gas gauge needle in the dash worked great and the other day the needle disappeared. It must of came loose and will need fixed. The paint looked really nice and last year I had it buffed and detailed and within weeks the paint really faded and the clear coat is very patchy now. The rims and tires are like new. I have enjoyed this car greatly and with regret am selling it. I probably am making the car sound bad but I don't want no surprises when you get here. I love the car and get complements and thumbs ups everywhere I go. If you look at my feedback I have sold a lot of higher priced collector cars over the years and have 100% feedback. I have described this car 100% to the best of my ability and I'm sure the buyer will be very pleased. With only a little over 2000 of these produced in 1972 this is a very rare gem and definately the best year produced! You see a few 73-75's for sale but rarely 72's. I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and full payment within 7 days. The Grandville can be stored for a bit before pickup if you need me to. Sold As-Is!! They say a picture speaks a 1000 words so I got 24000 words for you. Zoom in look at all the pictures. No secrets car is as described. But pictures speak louder than words..
