Vehicle Detail

Up For Sale is my 1972 Chevy El Camino this is my daily driver I'm the second owner of a all original Dry California Car. I started a body on restoration about 2 years ago starting with tuning up the engine and adding electronic ign , new Edelbrock Carb 650 cfm, Performer manifold , new belts and radiator hoses, new alternator new water pump and fan clutch. Rebuilt 350 Trans new U Joints and balanced the drive shaft, brake job all around, new upper A arm bushings, Idler arm assy, tie rod end inner, tie rod end outer on passenger side and wheel seals. 4wheel alingment she goes down the road straight. New Glass Packs and Chrome Tips. 15x8" Cragars Rear and 15x7" Cragars Front Goodyear tires all around good tread. The interior has been stripped it needs new door panels, headliner and the seat covered, I have installed a new factory carpet kit myself looks great. The dash pad is cracked from heat and I installed a gauge package over the original radio also new door rubber seals. The exterior has been stipped down to bare metal two lower front fender patch panels installed. The rear quarter's on both side have had body work done at one time looks like it had backed into something at tail light level. There is a hole in the top of the cab from a antenna from a CB radio. I replaced the tail gate as the old one had a crease in it. She smokes just a little when starting but doesn't use oil I figure it's valve seals from sitting for some time before I got her . Looks like the original engine , trans and Posi rear end to the El Camino . It's an AC car with the original R-12 I replaced the POA valve and installed a new dryer to the system recharged with R-12 and she ran cool then slowly leaked out I figure it's the large upper hose that's leaking. There is minor rust on the floor behind the drivers seat only not real bad but it shoud be addressed ,the rear window base had rust from a canopy that was installed when the car was new, I cut it out and replaced with a new heavyier gage piece but haven't finished welding it in. The rear window is just siliconed in temporary so I could drive I have all the rear window moldings that are not shown also I was cloneing a 72 SS Body and have drilled the front fenders for SS emblems and welded the holes for lower body moldings . All in All it's a great old El Camino Drive it any where I've just lost interest and short on funds to finish her up. Ask any and all questions before you bid I'll be glad to answer. I also have $400.00 worth of body work supplies that go along with the sale .On Sep-16-13 at 19:11:57 PDT, seller added the following information: You can call with any questions at 530-921-2380 WEST COAST TIME ZONE .8:00AM TILL 9:00PM Thanks Dennis
