Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1973 Suzuki T500 Titan that I ride weekly. I have a clear Mississippi title in hand in my name. This bike is tagged--licensed--with an antique Mississippi plate. I have ridden weekly, and enjoyed this bike for almost three years, and mileage may increase slightly, due to my inability to refrain from riding it. This bike is just as I purchased it almost three years ago, and I have not had to spend one penny in repairs. I do keep oil changed, and run non-ethanol gas. The tires are like new, and still have the mold tits. They are Dunlop Gold Seal K70s. The previous owner removed the stock air boot, and installed K&N Pod Filters. I do not have the original air boot. The gas tank, oil tank, and side cover have been repainted, and have no dents, scrapes, or scratches. Paint and chrome on entire bike shows very well. I have not polished, waxed, or buffed this bike in order to place on Ebay. Engine cases, front fork legs, pipes, and fenders would all polish to a show finish. The right front tip of front fender does have minor scrapes that are hardly noticeable. All lights and gauges work as they should. Gauge faces are clear, and unfaded. Front fork gators are soft and pliable with no rips or tears. Handlebars are straight and shiney. This bike has recent chain and sprockets installed by previous owner. Seat is clean, soft, and pliable, and has no rips of tears. Has aftermarket petcock--might be a pingle--that works well; doesn't leak, but is stiff--probably from lack of use. This bike will make someone a wonderful rider, and with some elbow grease, would make a great show bike. I know I'll regret selling, but have to thin the herd a bit. I have sold two other T500s--A 1971 California Lavender, and a 1972 Green. The same person bought both; at different auctions. He found that I don't like purchasing surprizes, and don't expect you to like them either. I have walked around this bike, and tried to describe it to the best of my ability. Getting too old to ride them all! I have set a realistic reserve, and started the bidding at 99 cents. Shipping is on the Buyer, and I request a $200.00 deposit through PAYPAL. I can hold the bike in a climate controlled enviroment, until arrangements are made. Hattiesburg, MS zip is 39402.. Please ask all questions, and additional pictures can be taken if desired. Will help with shipper on this end. Please watch for other auctions of matching Suzuki T250 and S32-2. I'm also listing several Suzuki T20s. Buy several, and make the roadtrip worth the money. Thanks for looking..........
