1965 Mustang coupe 3 speed transmission 289 V8 Vin # 5R07C245811 Engine # 0 C5AE-60156 and Supercharged. As far as i can tell this is a matching numbers car built in california delivered to Arizona previous owner told me the car has lived in Arizonia all its life he was second owner. The most important thing about this car is it has no rust other than two spots in both doors have rust to the inside panels only! These panels can be removed and replaced easly. replaced both window winder mechanisum and the glass rolls up and down perfectly. No rust in the exterior door skin at all . No cancer rust anywhere else in the car i can see - essentially this is a rust free car. I fitted a Power Dyne supper charger and Brand New Demon 650 Blowthrough Carb Aluminum Manifold new Electronic Ignition New wires Eddelbrock High Pressure racing fuel pump. The car runs and drives extremely well. The supercharger boost at about 4 -5 Ibshave fitted a boost gauage and tacho - its the original engine with a whole lot more power. I installed the supercharger for fun and to improve torque. It pulls strong in top gear burns rubber. Drives smooth runs performs beautifully at traffic speed. It's very important to note that this car has no other modifications to the engine other than described above. When i purchased the car 3 years ago my intention was to restomodify the car i decided due to financial limitation to just fix it it up mechnically and drive it. New clutch thrust bearing and ring gear new starter new brake shoes brake hoses new wheel cylinders and park break not installed but included with the sale. upper control arms lower control arms coil spring perches coil spring insulators pair of strut rod bushings inners tie rods pair outer tie rods pair sway bar bushings front shockers and bushings rear shockers and bushings New springs and u bolt kit from chassisworks - mideye 4 1/2 leaf springs and u bolts and plates leaf spring shackles and bolts polyurethane bushings. New front wheel bearings. The car is lowered approxiamately 1 inch from factory. Sits and drives nicely. The interior of the car is sun damaged sitting in arizonia sun for close to 50 years. Dash pad was so badly sun damaged i removed. carpet seats is all worn out cracked seats. Next thing I was about to do was the interior. Brand new heater box and hoses core and cables - the heater works like new Winshield wipers work and new wiper blades. The interior lights tail light and headlights work high beam switch not working and removed. Turn signals works. Dash cluster lighting was not working when i bought the car all the bulbs were burnt out but all electrical behind the dash is live and will power after market cluster. My intention was to buy a new after market restomod style instrument cluster but just ran out of money. Currently i have the speedo working from the original dash cluster with a new speedo cable. Under the hood without hood scoop supercharger 'wolf in sheeps clothing' new battery and cradle. Radiator is orginal double thick core to run a/c which i removed a/c was working when removed. All the parts i removed go with the sale of the car. I estimate the milage to be roughly correct at 150K as the speedometer was working when i bought the car the cable broke and was replace havent driven that many miles since i owned the car. This car is the perfect car to restore or drive as is. I have described the condition of the car acturately but may have forgotten something. Write and ask questions. New radiator and heater hoses and radiator shroud - the shroud is after market as the 1965 mustang did not come with a radiator shroud. Transmission shifts and works well and this car can be driven long distance without a hassle. I think i have listed all the replacement parts but probably forgotten something i replaced.
